2012

  • Sector: Pharmaceutical
  • Demand:

    Label various sizes of phials, from 1 to 20 ml with a wrap-around adhesive label for 200 ppm with a monitoring and rejection system for non-compliant containers.

  • Solution:

    A self-adhesive linear labelling machine fitted with a special device to make format changeover operations easier was designed.

  • Outcome:

    A Vial self-adhesive linear labelling machine was installed, complete with an OCR and OCV system for overprinting, label presence check with relative rejection.

    A number of formats to label featuring automated adjustments and a compact machine.

  • Solution:

    A fully automatic labelling machine was designed.

  • Outcome:

    A fully automatic Compact labelling machine was installed, with format changeover times and overall dimensions reduced to a minimum.

2009

  • Demand:

    Application of a body and back label on a soft plastic 250 ml bottle at a speed of 3,000 bph with relative positioning of the labels in relation to the container's sealing.

  • Solution:

    A special self-adhesive labeller with a double pre-positioning of the product was designed.

  • Outcome:

    Two Spinner self-adhesive linear labelling machines were installed, with a double pre-positioning system.

2007

  • Sector: Spirits
  • Demand:

    Linear application of a long self-adhesive label on three sides of the bottle with the relative back label. Rectangular 750 ml glass bottle, clear metalized label.

  • Solution:

    A special system to apply and smoothen the label on 3 sides was designed.

  • Outcome:

    The client's request was met with the installation of a Wing self-adhesive linear labelling machine at a speed of 4,000 bph, with a tolerance application of less than one millimetre.

2006

  • Sector: Chemical - detergents
  • Demand:

    Switching from hot-melt to self-adhesive technology to apply wrap-around labels on cylindrical bottles for Smack and Vetril, plus a wrap-around reel-fed plastic label, thereby eliminating the use of hot glue.

  • Solution:

    A linear system to a apply a pre-glued plastic label was designed, with no paper support involved.

  • Outcome:

    The first Razor linerless self-adhesive linear labelling machine was installed, maximum speed of 9,000 bph.

2005
  • Bebidas Mundiales (Coca Cola)
  • Sector: Beverage
  • Demand:

    Application of a self-adhesive sticker for products exported abroad on a high-speed production line.

  • Solution:

    A special high-speed linear system was designed to transfer the containers and apply a short label on the conical neck of the 335 ml glass Coca-Cola bottle.

  • Outcome:

    A Wing self-adhesive linear labelling machine was installed, with a 120 m/min adhesive station, for an output equal to 42,000 bph. A second labelling machine identical to the first one was subsequently ordered for another production facility.
